Punjab University has changed its new examination pattern in 2016 for Fresh BA students who have appeared and passed intermediate in 2015. According to the new pattern, Punjab University has introduced Split Program of BA Examination into two separate years, 3rd year and 4th year.
It is good and very beneficial decision done by the vice-chancellor of Punjab University as Metric, and intermediate Exams are used to be done by all the boards of intermediates and secondary education of Punjab since long. In the same way, Graduation and Master level of examination is used to be conducted by the external examining bodies, for instance, all Universities of Pakistan. The examinations were used to be done once after the end of two educational years.
So keeping in mind all these things to decrease the educational burden of the students and for better distribution of knowledge, the examinations of Matric level, intermediate level, and master level were separated into Part-I & Part-II. Upon the same design, there was a serious need to divide the Graduation Exams of Colleges into Part-I & Part-II. So Punjab University has now decided to conduct the examination into two parts from coming years.
نئے طریقہ کا ر کے مطابق اب تما م نئے طلباؐ و طالبات جنہوں نے پہلی مرتبہ امتحان دینے ہیں وہ سب تھرڈ ائر اور فورتھ ائر میں الگ الگ امتحان دیں گے۔ اگر پہلی مرتبہ کیس طالب علم یا طالبہ نے کمبائن پیپرز دینے ہیں تو وہ بھی نئے طریقہ کے مطابق ہی امتحان دیں گے، ان کے لیے پرانہ طریقہ کار ختم ہو گیا ہے۔ پرانے طریقہ کار کے مطابق صرف وہ طلباؐ و طالبات امتحان دیں گے جنہوں نے 2015، 2016 میں امتحان د یے تھے اور کسی مضمون میں سپلی آ گئ اور ابھی ان کے پاس امتحان دینے کا چانس ہے

One question is from Pros Book “A Selection of Modern Essay” =20 Marks
One Question from Novel “The Old man and The Sea” =20 Marks
Essay with Outlines 20+5=25 marks (You will be given five topics to write anyone of the topic with outline)
A Letter to Editor or Official Letter to any authority of the Department or Job Application =15 marks
Idioms and Phrasal Verbs:” You will have to make five sentences of Idioms or Phrasal verbs out of 10=10 marks
Rules of Correction “You will have to correct five sentences out of 10 sentences=10 marks

The syllabus/course outlines will be the same as given in previous books. However, in following subjects some contents of papers are re-structured with the new patterns: bother papers of 200 marks will be divided into one book in each year.

the registratiopn process is now online, you have to fill online form, there is no other way, if you have done inter from other boart that is not under PU you have to all arrange original NOC from that board
